As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will play an important part in maintaining a secure environment through teamwork, communication, and integrity, while supporting a culture that puts people first. Pay Rate: $20.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Communicate with staff and visitors to provide directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to site procedures and Allied Universal standards.
• Collaborate with local authorities and site personnel during emergencies or incidents, supporting response efforts as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
