The Connectivity Account Manager is a senior business liaison and focal point to the customers of Commercial to ensure quality delivery of connectivity to customers. This position has immediate and direct impact on customer satisfaction and alignment of regional growth and attrition targets. Responsibilities include the alignment of business and Information Technology goals, negotiation of Service Level Agreements with senior business management and coordination of Information Technology resources to meet these objectives. The challenge is to manage cross-functional issues and deliverables by effectively setting priorities and directing resources that are not managed by this position. This requires a strong individual with an extensive background in the Quest Diagnostics connectivity suite as well as excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

This is a field-based position covering PA (Philadelphia), NJ, and the Hudson Valley, NY.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain credibility and effective working relations with the customer and IT personnel in a way that demonstrates an understanding of business acumen, workflow, IT strategies, issues and priorities.
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with customer and IT relative to project and service issues, working principally with senior management.
  • Partner with the functional groups within the IT organization to communicate and clarify business needs that are not being met.
  • Contribute to the development of long-term Information Technology plans and ensure that products and services are aligned with business needs.
  • Support delivery of technologies to assist with business process improvement.
  • Provide connectivity support to regional and local sales and BU teams focused on customer connectivity delivery.
  • Staff and support regional team of Technology Sales Specialist, where appropriate.



Qualifications:

Required Work Experience



  • 5-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Skills



  • Knowledgeable in all areas of IT Connectivity and support. Knowledge includes, but is not limited to, Quanum, LIS/EMR products, and Help Desk support.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects.
  • Experience with multiple technologies and products across various platforms relevant to customer connectivity.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and customers.
  • Sound negotiation skills.
