Position Overview

The Gap Closure Program Operations Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing cross-functional initiatives to support the Market Access Gap Closure Program team. This role acts as primary liaison between the Market Access team, commercial operations, and other commercial and non-commercial functions, including but not limited to revenue cycle, information technology, customer success, and customer experience to provide project management support and operations support, and to execute on gap closure program orders.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key Gap Closure Program and commercial stakeholders.
  • Apply exceptional attention to detail, identify discrepancies, and ensure data integrity across project lifecycles.
  • Define tasks and required resources necessary to complete projects and initiatives in a skillful manner.
  • Monitor and report on progress of project deliverables to leadership.
  • Identify risks and opportunities both with internal teams and external vendors; address and escalate, as needed.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and external vendors directly and/or indirectly to deliver solutions while managing scope, risks, timeline, resources, and project deliverables.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities to define requirements for new or updated processes and to drive effective change.
  • Apply effective written and oral communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple competing priorities within and across multiple initiatives at the same time.

  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 20% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • 5+ years' experience working in a core business function within Finance, Health Insurance or Health Care.
  • Proven experience with financial forecasting, reporting, business analytics and presentation development.
  • Keen general business acumen, attention to detail, and analytical rigor.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, curiosity, resourcefulness, and positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and simultaneously juggle a variety of disparate projects and tasks in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Confident in having exposure to and working directly with senior business leaders.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite, with an emphasis on advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a matrix management organization with primary responsibility for success while relying on a team of resources which may or may not be direct reports.
  • Experience working with payers and health plans. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply requirements to maintain data integrity, optimize workflow efficiency, and support seamless coordination between internal teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management systems and documentation practices, with a strong ability to organize, track, and execute projects through detailed planning and documentation control.Excels at maintaining accuracy and consistency across multiple systems, ensuring all deliverables meet established quality standards.
  • Brings a continuous improvement mindset-skilled at analyzing workflows, identifying root causes of systemic inefficiencies, and implementing sustainable solutions that enhance overall process effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with frequent process iterations and change, maintaining agility while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with evolving organizational goals.

Salary Range:

$109,000.00 - $185,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
