TITLE: Sr. Development and Application Manager


POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position will reside in the Inteplast BOPP Films Technology Group, supporting film and coating qualifications in the market (customers, ink suppliers, labeler manufactures, etc.) and support long-term the use of these films in the marketplace.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Minimum 2-year technical Degree; 10+ years experience with OPP film production, testing and materials qualification with emphasis on printing & labeling technology.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • This position will provide a critical liaison between commercial and R&D functions. Assist R&D in defining the critical attributes of products for the targeted applications, working qualify products both internally and externally, and servicing via technical support commercial products (both current portfolio and products to be developed). This can include quality review and investigations and potential claim resolution
  • The position will be capable of remote work, but will be required to travel extensively to support Inteplast BOPP plants and product development as well as support customer qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Adapt at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, and manufacturing departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and business growth.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and work independently.



WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:



  • Manufacturing/office environment
  • Hot and Cold temperatures
  • Loud noises
