Sr. EKG Technician BCH Oak Cardiology Services Full Time 86549BR Job Summary The senior EKG technician works closely with the stress labs exercise physiologist and nurse practitioner of the EKG and Stress Testing Lab to provide care and services as directed. The senior EKG technician assures that office functions are maintained, all records are completed appropriately and equipment and supplies are ordered and received. Other responsibilities include performing EKG recordings, processing EKGs for the physician reading panel, and performing Holter monitor hook-ups. The senior EKG technician is responsible for training all existing and new staff that performs EKG and/or Stress Lab services and coordinates with administrative supervisor to assure proper coverage for EKG services. Edits, processes, archives and educates staff with adult and pediatric 12/15 lead ECGs utilizing the MUSE archive System. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $47.50 - $59.34 (Hourly Rate).
