Position: Scheduling Representative Pay: $20-$22/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Scheduling Representative to support patient scheduling for appointments, outpatient testing, procedures, and exams. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth patient experience by coordinating with insurance verifiers, maintaining accurate records, and communicating financial responsibilities with empathy and clarity. Key Responsibilities: * Schedule patient appointments and outpatient services efficiently and accurately. * Verify insurance eligibility and update patient records with correct insurance information. * Assess medical necessity for procedures, particularly for Medicare patients. * Collaborate with insurance verification teams to obtain authorizations for scheduled services. * Maintain thorough documentation of patient accounts and insurance eligibility. * Communicate with patients regarding copayments, prepayments, and outstanding balances in a compassionate and professional manner. Required Skills: * Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems. * Strong knowledge of medical scheduling and medical terminology. * Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. * Familiarity with radiology scheduling and epic emr is required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
