Title:ASC Program Manager Location:Houma, LA Position Overview:The ASC Program Manager will serve as the primary POC for all contract matters, including contract administration, reporting, meetings, tasks efforts, subcontractor oversight and customer communications. Program Manager will be responsible for managing and controlling program costs, schedules and project manning requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct management, supervision and oversight of programs related to planning, material procurement, and availability of planning services. The ASC Program Manager will oversee the scope, methods, and objectives of multiple complex planning projects while directing multiple Project Managers.
- Serve as intermediary while managing internal communication and external communication at all points of customer interface while overseeing all aspects of planning program to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget.
- Supervise the program management team to ensure successful implementation of program goals and adherence to established objectives.
- Coordinate and schedule all phases of assigned projects across various disciplines, including engineering, procurement, accounting, and subcontractor management.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in business, Accounting, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in government or commercial shipbuilding.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience with US Navy & USCG maintenance programs, procurement, acquisitions, or contracting.
- Experience in naval ship system engineering and management including project management, personnel development, administrative and financial aspects.
- Experience in senior management positions providing engineering solutions to U.S. Navy & USCG ship systems issues.
- Experience in working with Government organizations such as NAVSEA Ship Program offices and Type Commanders is desired.
