*Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator - Remote (Healthcare Documentation Review)* *Pay Rate:* $26.50-$28.50/hour
*Schedule:* Monday-Friday, flexible hours between 7:00 AM-7:00 PM CT *Weekend Availability:* 1-2 weekend shifts per month *Location:* 100% Remote (Equipment provided) *About the Role* We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced *Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator* to join a growing healthcare documentation team. In this role, you'll ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of clinical peer review reports, supporting high standards of quality and regulatory alignment. This is a remote opportunity with flexible scheduling and the chance to contribute to a team that values precision, professionalism, and continuous improvement. *Key Responsibilities* * Review peer reports, addendums, and supplemental documentation for clarity, accuracy, and compliance. * Ensure recommendations are evidence-based and supported by current clinical references. * Verify that all client instructions and regulatory requirements are met. * Confirm appropriate board specialty review and absence of conflicts of interest. * Address inconsistencies and collaborate with reviewers for corrections. * Support resolution of client complaints and quality assurance concerns. * Maintain adherence to federal ERISA and state mandates. * Provide feedback to management on consultant quality and compliance. * Participate in training and contribute to process improvements. *Qualifications* * *Registered Nurse (RN)* license strongly preferred with some sort of coding certification (CPC, RHIT, etc.). * Previous experience in *nursing, clinical documentation*, or healthcare quality assurance. * Strong knowledge of *medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, medications, and lab values*. * Excellent *professional writing* and grammar skills. * Proficient in *Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel*, and internet-based tools. * Typing speed of *40+ WPM* with high accuracy. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to compute rates and percentages. * Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. * Reliable, independent worker with a private, distraction-free home workspace. * Must maintain confidentiality and follow company policies precisely. *Perks & Environment* * *100% remote* work with company-provided equipment (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, phone). * Flexible hours and supportive team culture. * Opportunity to work in a growing department with long-term stability. * Make a meaningful impact in healthcare documentation and compliance. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $28.50/hr.
