- As a Machinist in our production environment, you will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment.
- You will apply precision machining skills to support manufacturing operations, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure production runs efficiently with minimal downtime.
- This role is critical in maintaining the reliability of our equipment and ensuring high-quality output across fabrication processes.
- Fabricate, repair, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures used in production.
- Perform machining tasks such as milling, turning, grinding, and drilling to create and restore components.
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including diagnosing root causes of mechanical issues.
- Modify and improve tooling to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and repair manuals.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure reliability.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve breakdowns quickly.
- Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
- Adhere to all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist in a tool & die, maintenance, or production support role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience repairing and fabricating tools, dies, and fixtures.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Technical training or apprenticeship.
- Proficiency with manual machining equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses).
- Strong blueprint reading and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of metals, heat treatment, and machining tolerances.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns in production machinery.
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and attention to detail.

- Ascending or descending ladders, scaffolding, ropes, poles, and the like, needing the use of both feet or legs and hands or arms.

- Ability to see an object or person and recognize its features.
