Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Woonsocket, RI. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Accepts / Rejects product based on conformity to internal and customer specifications through visual inspection and coating thickness measurement.
  • Performs Quality Inspection activities, including but not limited to incoming inspection, in-process verifications, and final inspection of completed products.
  • Responsible for creating nonconforming reports (NCRs) in the system when nonconformances are identified.
  • Assist in Daily Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
  • Collaborates with Leads and Managers to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure products comply with the Customer's requirements and the ISO 13485 standard.
  • Participate in ISO 13485 re-certification, internal, and customer audits as needed.
  • Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions related to nonconforming issues discovered during anodizing and post-processing, including participation in analyzing Complaint Reports, Return Material Authorization (RMA), and Temporary Deviation (TDRA).
  • Consistently demonstrating the ability to perform independently with little direct supervision.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $19-$21 per hour, dependent upon experience.

Hours: 9/80, 4/10, ETC, 1st shift.

Length: Temp.

Holiday pay (dependent upon holidays and company), 401(k), direct deposit, and medical and dental insurance.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Quality Control or a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of general quality inspection procedures.
  • Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective team player who can work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Quality personnel.
  • Computer Basic Skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in an ISO Environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as process routings, check sheets, blueprints, sketches, diagrams, special quality plans, and other procedural materials and documents.
  • Able to complete training requirements.
  • The employee must be able to read and interpret documents written in English-including work instructions, schematic and assembly drawings, and standard operating and maintenance procedures-and communicate effectively with fellow employees, supervisors, and management.

  • Must be able to speak and hear.
  • The employee is needed to walk, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally sit, stoop, and crouch.
  • Needs mental and visual attention to detail as well as hand coordination.
  • Occasionally lifting or moving average-weight material.
  • The flow of work and character of duties involve normal mental and visual attention, along with manual coordination, or part-time normal and part-time concentrated attention and coordination.
