POSITION SUMMARY: The Nurse Scientist at JHACH is a doctoral-prepared nurse who provides leadership, consultation, supervision, and oversight in all aspects of nursing research to frontline staff at all levels throughout the JHACH academic health system. The Director collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer/V.P. for Patient Care Services, the Nursing Inquiry Council, JHACH Quality Sub Council, JHACH Institutional Review Board (IRB) and shared governance councils to ensure an organizational culture that encourages, supports, and supervises the development of research and EBP, pursuit of funding as appropriate, the conduct of the research/EBP project, and dissemination of findings. Salary Range: Minimum 49.54/hour - Maximum 76.79/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
