Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $20-$22 per hour (based on experience)

Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday (occasional overtime as needed)

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (TTH)

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Painter, you'll apply coatings, finishes, and protective layers to a variety of metal and machinery surfaces using precision tools and techniques. Your work will directly support the manufacturing of durable, high-performance products.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
  • Mix and apply paints according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate LVHP (Low Volume High Pressure) paint guns and other industrial coating tools.
  • Monitor mill thickness and ensure proper coating applications.
  • Maintain paint booth cleanliness and proper airflow; replace filters as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, clean, and maintain paint equipment for consistent performance.
  • Safely handle, store, and dispose of paints and chemicals per OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Keep an organized work area and accurately log materials and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.



What You'll Bring



  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing painting.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred (relevant work experience accepted).
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency with paint sprayers, booths, and surface preparation techniques.
  • Familiarity with hazardous material handling and environmental safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Certification in industrial painting (NACE, SSPC) preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a paint skills test.
