Position description

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) invites applications for a research position in Energetic Particle (EP) Plasma Physics. The primary area of research will be in validating codes that predict EP physics in a fusion pilot plant but participation in EP experiments and assessment of instabilities in the ion cyclotron range of frequencies is included. The successful candidate should have a Ph.D and significant experience in both theory and experiment. Please submit a curriculum vita and a list of publications.
