The Demand Planning Manager II (DPM II) is responsible for the creation of item-level forecasts across all areas of the Trex business as part of the S&OP process. The DPM II utilizes historical trends and insight from key customers and Sales Team leaders to maintain the forecast for an 18-24 month horizon. The DPM II must be able to build effective models, analyze large volumes of data, and communicate collaboratively across all business functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations).

In addition to forecasting responsibilities, the DPM II will be responsible for the PDM process and Supply for purchased FG's. The DPM II will oversee lifecycle management for items and ensure the accuracy of master data in the ERP. He/She will ensure supply of purchased FGs to support the forecast and inventory expectations, including fulfillment to west coast railing distribution center.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Put safety first - Always!
  • Lead and foster our "people first" culture.
  • Create the rolling 18-24 month network forecast using historical data and modeling tools with collaboration from Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations. Must be able to build models to analyze trends and exceptions.
  • Lead the monthly Demand Agreement Meeting to ensure consensus of the network forecast.
  • Create the sku-level disaggregated forecast and manage MAPE and Bias metrics to reduce supply plan volatility.
  • Develop relationships with sales, retail and distributor partners to create external forecasting capabilities for improved network forecast accuracy.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to fully utilize the ERP system for forecasting. Responsible for the accuracy of all ERP master data associated with the network forecast.
  • Create/Implement/Lead the Product Data Management process to ensure accuracy of JDE master data and manage the lifecycle for all items.
  • Manage the purchasing for all purchased FG's and outsourced manufacturing.
  • Manage inventory levels for the west coast railing distribution center

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for leaders with:



  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain/logistics, business administration, engineering, or finance
  • 3-5 years relevant sales/logistics/supply chain experience
  • Operations planning and/or forecasting experience
  • ERP experience (JD Edwards preferred)
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills.

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000 annually

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
