SEC Energy is a single-source provider of natural gas compression equipment, parts and services to all segments of the oil & gas industry. SEC also provides production, processing, and treating equipment, and an expansive network of warehouses that service locations across the United States. SEC capabilities expand beyond tradition manufacturing to further include turnkey engineering services, truck-based service technicians, manufacturer parts, and power generation equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Training to perform duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. Assists in providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Assists in diagnosing problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Assists in performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Assists in performing a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Assists in detecting faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Perform job duties in a safe manner and according to company safety procedures. Reports potentially unsafe equipment and safety hazards to supervisor for immediate resolution. Understands and follows oral and written instructions. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments and workers. Performs the above and other duties as required with supervision. Experience: 0 - 2 years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and industrial skills. Software Knowledge: Basic Computer skills, Microsoft office and/or any other software requested by department. Skills: * Ability understanding of manufacturing process flow. * Ability to communicate effectively. * Ability to handle problems and facilitate successful outcomes. Mental Power: relies on instructions in terms of what and how work is to be done, as well as why it is done, within established policies and procedures. Physical Power: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and safety work boots.
