About the team

Worldpay, LLC seeks Payments Engineer Specialist - Financial Technology in Cincinnati, OH to conduct thorough analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software.

What you will be doing

The Payments Engineer Specialist - Financial Technology will craft detailed technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements. Additionally, the role will:

  • Engage in object-oriented design and modular system development.
  • Write and test code using Dot Net Technologies.
  • Designs integrations with both upstream and downstream systems.
  • Develops reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Code techniques understanding of OWASP guidelines.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain database systems using SQL.
  • Utilize SQL to optimize stored procedures within DB2 and Oracle.
  • Implement RESTful APIs, Web services, and Windows services.
  • Work with JSON, WSDLs, XML/XSD, SOAP, LINQ, and multi-threading.
  • Manage source control and change tracking using GitHub on Azure.
  • Oversee end-to-end project activities, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, UAT, and production support.
  • Work within an agile software development environment, utilizing SAFe methodologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:

  • performing object-oriented design and modular system development and designing integrations with upstream and downstream systems;
  • analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, writing, modifying software and technical specifications;
  • designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Database systems using SQL to optimize stored procedures within DB2 and Oracle;
  • working on implementing RESTful APIs, Web services, Windows services;
  • working with JSON, WSDLs, XML/XSD, SOAP, LINQ, and multi-threading;
  • working with OWASP and secure coding techniques;
  • working in the Financial services industry utilizing Digital Payment Processing, and Residual process.

Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policy. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
