The Scheduler, Plant is responsible for a range of tasks that support the smooth operation of our plant. This role manages work orders, oversees production progress, and assists in line scheduling. It is a key position that ensures our manufacturing processes run efficiently and effectively.

* Manages the Hickory Warehouse team which is responsible for Shipping & Receiving.
* Work closely with Corporate Planning to optimize available resources to meet customer delivery needs.
* Creating all Hickory work orders.
* Backup for US Production Manager as well as Robex for Hickory & Hatfield.
* Communicates needed scheduling changes with the manufacturing team in a timely manner.
* Tracks, reports, and manages the Plant schedule to assure maximum shipping performance to meet or exceed On-Time Shipping goals. This will include work order accuracy.
* Oversees and ensure the completion of required cycle counts to ensure data integrity and accuracy of inventory levels as reported in Jomar. Distribute CC list to warehouse team and preform root cause analysis when needed. Report results to Manager of Business Process.
* Make appropriate adjustments in Jomar in a timely manner.
* Ensures the availability of raw materials and other manufacturing supplies needed to meet manufacturing production schedules.
* Help manage NWSM process with reviews and write offs.
* Assist in tracking open vs closed work orders to ensure status accuracy.
* Act as point person for BOM maintenance in Hickory.
* Participate as a member of the Hickory leadership team.
* Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is an asset.
