Student Unions Job Description
The Facility Attendant performs custodial tasks, event set-up, take-down, change-over, and customer service as well as maintenance duties necessary to ensure the successful and comfortable execution of events for customers of university facilities, which includes adjusting work hours depending on events. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain the cleanliness of event spaces and meeting rooms, so they are ready for guests. Occasionally this position may be on site for an event to ensure ongoing cleanliness for long duration events. When available, this position may be called upon to work with the theater technical crew or event ops crew to assist in preparing for, running, or tearing down events. * A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
