Transportation Team Lead (CDL Required) - $27-$34/hr | Steady Schedule + Leadership Role

Location: Denver, CO
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: $27-$34/hour (based on experience)

Join Inotiv as a Transportation Operations Team Lead, where you'll combine your driving expertise with leadership responsibilities that keep our warehouse and distribution center running smoothly.

You'll enjoy a steady weekday schedule, local routes most of the week, and only a bi-weekly overnight trip - all while leading a team that values safety, teamwork, and reliability.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee all daily activities, assigning staff duties

  • Ensure the facility is functioning to the applicable regulations and company SOPs

  • Oversee company vehicles and ensuring operating in compliance with US DOT regulations

  • Guide and motivate associates to enable them to work together and ensure they're delivering excellent customer service

  • Instill a safe working environment mindset

  • Respond to off-hour emergency calls when needed

  • Process, pick and stage customer orders, track shipments and answer inquiries on a timely basis, to ensure transport expectations are met

  • Drive delivery routes as scheduled and/or needed

  • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
  • Valid CDL-B (minimum) with active DOT medical card

  • At least 2 years of transport experience

  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities under extremely busy conditions

  • Must be able to build interpersonal relationships

  • Knowledge, familiarity and experience with inventory planning controls preferred

  • Desire to learn and perform new responsibilities

  • Forklift experience (required)

  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Samsara a plus)

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work hands-on as part of the team

*This is a non-exempt role paying $27-$34/hour and This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience.
