The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and considered essential functions of the position: * Train and oversee the CNAs in the performance of their duties. * Receive a report from the Charge Nurse at each station regarding any special needs of residents and report to the CNAs any special needs of their assigned residents. * Make last rounds with each CNA to ensure residents are left clean, dry, and comfortable, with call light and water within reach. * Maintains charts and documentation for all residents. * Greets new residents, orients them to their room, and ensures they are comfortable * Assists residents with basic needs, including, but not limited to, oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing/undressing, hair care, nail care, shaving, and bowel and bladder functions. * Maintain resident stability by checking vitals, weight, etc., and documenting. * Follows infection control techniques in performing patient/resident care. * Observe residents' behaviors, pay attention to all details, and report changes to nurses. * Engage with residents by assisting them with participating in activities, talking with them, and treating everyone with a person-centered approach. * Perform all other related duties as assigned.
