Short Intro and About the Job

The Regional Sales Manager located in either Florida or Georgia, directs Territory Managers within an assigned region to support the sales goals of Nutricia's products through training and guidance. The role involves assisting Territory Managers in meeting target audience needs and supporting the strategic objectives within Specialty Nutrition.

Essential Functions:

    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales representatives on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Manage sales results in the region
  • Communicate regularly with sales management and the sales team regarding targets, objectives, and KPIs.
  • Provide current information and forecasts as needed.
  • Implement segmentation strategies and monitor their progress.
  • Maintain the regional prescription influence map.
  • Plan and execute regional business strategy and coordinate with employees.
  • Identify opportunities to advance the regional business strategy and recommend actions to the National Sales Director.
  • Lead recruitment and selection of sales representatives as required.
  • Conduct coaching and training for Territory Managers.
  • Oversee new hire training processes and ensure certification for new or existing products and utilization of resources.
  • Set annual individual performance objectives and development plans for direct reports.
  • Complete bi-annual Performance Development Reviews for each direct report.
  • Dedicate 60-75% fieldwork commitment; conduct a minimum of two field visits per quarter with each Territory Manager based on seven to ten direct reports.
  • Submit Field Coaching Reports after each field visit.
  • Attend management meetings as necessary.
  • Develop quarterly business plans for the region and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
  • Provide analytic insights into regional data and issues using company resources.
  • Manage annual and monthly budgets for travel and regional activities.

Administration:

  • Use Nutricia's Sales Force Automation tool to oversee territory manager sales activities.
  • Deliver feedback on metrics and KPIs to territory managers and the National Sales Director of Pediatrics & GI.
  • Complete and approve expense reports in accordance with policy.
  • Manage sample requests and other budget items each month.
  • Participate in sales management and home office meetings, either virtual or in-person.
  • Report on sales trends, progress, and opportunities to Marketing, Medical, and other relevant departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $158,000 USD / year. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. About You

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in Medical Nutrition, pharmaceutical, or medical related fields, is preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years' managerial experience in nutritional sales, pediatric pharmaceutical, medical related fields, is preferred.
  • Must reside in designated region.
  • Familiarity with regional key markets is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
