This position directs the general and daily responsibilities for small excavation crews, including the coordination of work on the job site, and ensuring crews complete assigned work on schedule. Work Environment & Physical Demands: The majority of work is completed outside at the construction site. The position is often exposed to sounds and loud noises, such as construction equipment. The job requires wearing protective equipment when on the construction site (hardhats, safety glasses, high visibility vests). Temperatures and conditions may vary depending on the weather and seasons. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and able to talk and hear talking. The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Expected Hours of Work:Full-time position, occasional extended hours or weekends may apply. Travel: Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel up to a 300-mile radius dependent on project location relative to where the employee lives.
