We're looking for an experienced Associate Director, Medical Strategy to join our team of forward-thinkers, where your expertise will directly influence the way we communicate health information and create impactful, audience-centric strategies.

What You'll Do

As an Associate Director, Medical Strategy, you'll be a key leader in shaping and executing medical strategy across multiple client accounts. You'll combine your deep scientific knowledge with a keen understanding of market dynamics to drive innovation and deliver tailored, compelling solutions.

You will:

  • Lead and execute medical strategy across multiple accounts, serving as the day-to-day medical lead and providing strategic insight and leadership.

  • Translate scientific data into actionable communications, ensuring that each piece of content is relevant, accurate, and aligned with brand objectives.

  • Lead new business pitches, contributing medical insights, crafting immersive content, and identifying strategic opportunities for growth.

  • Collaborate across teams-working closely with clients, internal teams, and HCPs to deliver omnichannel engagement strategies that connect with audiences.

  • Mentor junior team members, offering guidance, feedback, and support for their professional development.

What You Bring

We're looking for a seasoned professional with both the technical expertise and the strategic mindset to drive our clients' success.

  • Advanced degree (MS, MD, PhD, or PharmD) in a scientific or clinical discipline.

  • 4+ years of experience in medical communications, healthcare marketing, or related fields, with a proven ability to lead medical strategy across brands.

  • Strong understanding of the science-with the ability to translate complex data into clear, audience-tailored content.

  • Strategic and creative vision, with experience managing client relationships and leading workshops to meet brand objectives.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and clients.

Why Vio?

  • Align science, strategy, and creativity, delivering content that not only resonates but drives real behavior change.

  • Craft customized solutions for each client, ensuring that every strategy and tactic is perfectly aligned with their unique challenges and needs.

  • Engage audiences with precision, reaching healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders through impactful, omnichannel strategies.

  • Thrive within IPG Health, a global leader in health communications, offering unmatched opportunities to grow your career and shape the future of healthcare.
