Position Summary Arts & Science is seeking an experienced Department Manager to join the Environmental Studies team. Reporting to the Chair, the Department Manager leads the management of overall departmental operations, processes, and strategic planning. Serve as a main resource to staff, faculty, and researchers on policy and procedure. Develop and present innovative improvement plans to support workflow efficiency and growth. Oversee and approve departmental budget and post-award grant expenses and workflows. Improve tracking and management of department budget and research portfolios. Support academic administration, faculty processes, and department events. Supervise staff. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $85,000.00 to USD $95,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
