Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses with experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, and/or emergency nursing. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to youth within a juvenile justice facility. The nurse will work both independently and collaboratively with direct care staff to ensure the health and safety of all residents. Job Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adolescents in a correctional or juvenile justice setting. Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth equipment to document and manage patient care. Assess, plan, and implement appropriate nursing interventions based on clinical judgment. Collaborate effectively with direct care and administrative staff to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members regarding patient needs, treatment plans, and progress. Maintain compliance with all healthcare policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Demonstrated experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, or emergency nursing. Proficiency in EHR systems and telehealth platforms. Ability to work independently and manage care delivery as the sole nurse on duty during part of the shift. Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, equitable care to youth in secure environments.
