POSITION SUMMARY:

The Graphic Designer is an entry-level position that collaborates with the Creative Director to develop and implement innovative design solutions that support occupancy and branding objectives. In this role, the Graphic Designer is responsible for delivering creative projects that align with company standards while ensuring high-quality execution. Success in this position is measured by the timely and accurate completion of projects, effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders, and the ability to meet both department and individual objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  1. Drives traffic and maximizes occupancy by delivering high-quality print, digital, and collateral materials to communities, as requested by the marketing team, site employees, and corporate staff.
  2. Researches and proposes innovative marketing products and campaigns, assisting the Creative Director in implementing solutions and improving processes.
  3. Manages project workflows efficiently using Workfront, ensuring daily organization and progress tracking.
  4. Provides consistent updates on all print and online projects through Workfront, ensuring clear communication.
  5. Engages in continuous training and personal development, applying new knowledge to enhance performance.
  6. Ensures all DDS projects comply with Fair Housing regulations, DMS policies, procedures, and branding standards.
  7. Collaborates with vendors to maintain and update the DDS Express website, including managing seasonal templates.
  8. Demonstrates expertise in pre-press and pre-flight procedures, coordinating project details with vendors as needed.
  9. Contributes to signage creation by participating in meetings, offering feedback, and refining designs.
  10. Actively participates in DDS meetings and brainstorming sessions to generate creative solutions.
  11. Completes projects to the satisfaction of MA's, CM's, and RM's, and oversees the delivery of finished DDS projects.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Entry-level or with 1-3 years of experience in graphic design or related roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer, with advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and other graphic design programs
  • Strong organizational, research, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Must reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI


PAY: $20-25/hour + bonus potential
