What to Expect
Tesla PlantOps is seeking an Electrician to support operations at our Fremont site. The selected candidate will provide operations and maintenance support to facilities, equipment, buildings, and grounds. The successful candidate will utilize technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills while working with the entire Plant Operations maintenance department, performing general, preventive, and emergency maintenance duties as needed and assigned.

What You'll Do
  • Champion and reinforce a safety culture in all aspects of work completed
  • Develop Pre-Task Plans, Permits (SIPP, Hot Work, Line Break), LOTO, and EHS reviews, as necessary
  • Maintain, inspect, test, and diagnose electrical systems and components. Troubleshoot and address reactive calls in a timely manner
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and applicable standardsand support other projects as needed by leadership or as business needs change
  • Complete work orders assigned in CMMS, log hours, parts, completion notes and follow-up work identified
  • Complete operational rounds, readings, sampling, and inspections as assigned
  • Actively participate in identifying energy and utility opportunities

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum three years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial/commercial environment
  • Proficient knowledge and experience working with medium voltage systems
  • Associates degree, trade school, or journeyman level experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under constantly changing priorities and demands
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives regarding building operations and work safety
  • Demonstrated technical ability in the repair and maintenance of industrial systems
  • Experience in safe work practices that include OSHA & emergency response training, fall protection, 70E, and LOTO procedures

    Expected Compensation
    $32.00 - $48.27/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
