Overview
POSITION: Pharmacy Tech for OHC's Retail Pharmacy LOCATION: Blue Ash WEEKLY HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 5:00 OHC - Specialists in Cancer and Blood Disorders is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Specialty Retail team. OHC is a private practice and our pharmacy only services OHC patients. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, hardworking, and knowledgeable about pharmacy operations. He/she should have strong organizational skills. Under direct supervision of OHC Pharmacists the technician performs the technical, non-judgmental aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping and inventory control. Tasks are subject to sequential or final verification by a registered pharmacist. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Specific state law may regulate that only licensed individuals perform compounding or mixing responsibilities. As the only independent adult cancer program in the region, we offer Medical, Radiation, Blood and Marrow Transplant, Gynecologic, and Breast Surgical Oncology services.
