NOC Manager Category: Information Technology Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH-388880 Job Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager Location: On-site \| Overland Park, KS Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range:$77,000 - $110,000 annually About the Role: We're seeking a hands-on, experienced NOC Manager to lead our Network Operations Center team. In this role, you'll oversee the monitoring, management, and troubleshooting of client networks and IT infrastructure for our managed services customers. You'll be responsible for team leadership, incident management, process optimization, and ensuring top-tier service delivery. This is an on-site position at our headquarters in Overland Park, KS. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of NOC technicians and engineers Set performance goals and conduct regular coaching sessions Manage shift schedules and on-call rotations for 24/7 coverage Oversee real-time monitoring of client networks and systems Ensure timely escalation and resolution of network incidents Maintain accurate documentation in the ticketing system Meet and exceed client SLAs for uptime and issue resolution Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex issues Develop and refine NOC processes and best practices Oversee network maintenance tasks (patching, updates, security) Ensure compliance with audit and security requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of system engineering experience (Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Nutanix, Citrix, Intune) Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, ControlUp, or similar) Proven leadership in a 24/7 technical support environment Strong incident management and escalation experience Certifications in network security or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) are a plus Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Managed Services Expectations: Available via Slack, email, and phone for team and customer support Participate in after-hours on-call rotation Actively assist with customer issues and team support Collaborate with Service Delivery, Professional Services, and Account Managers Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality What We're Looking For: Positive, confident, and proactive attitude Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented Strong organizational and communication skills Detail-oriented and process-driven Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines Ready to lead a high-performing team and make a real impact?
