Onsite- New Hampshire Based Position - No Relocation Assistance

Position Summary: The Marketing Specialist, Events Operation works closely with the Tradeshows, Events and Experience teams to provide support for SIG SAUER events to ensure a successful execution. This includes managing budgets, reporting, as well as managing relationships with outside vendors and all internal stakeholders on all budgetary requests.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Develop and manage shows and events budget infrastructure, to include operating expenses and capital expenditures as well as POs, invoices, and overall costs within marketing budget.
  • Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to provide regular reports and analysis on shows and events, monitor against goals and objectives to optimize program effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain show schedules, project checklists and processes via event management templates and best practice processes.
  • Conduct post-show reconciliation, surveys, and reporting.
  • Assist the event planning team with logistics and deliverables for trade shows and events, including promotional giveaways forecasting and freight planning for trade shows.
  • Manage company uniforms, including tracking inventory, coordinating orders, and monitoring distribution
  • Develop and sustain business relationships with vendors/partners.
  • Travel to and support onsite execution and management of key events.


Education/Experience & Skills:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in operations, trade show and events experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, budgeting, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Adept at handling multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of marketing communications.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (including strong knowledge of excel),
    Willing to travel up to 20% to organize events as needed, may include travel on some evenings and weekends.


Working Conditions:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
