This reliable and detail-oriented individual, as part of the Shipping team, will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and coordinating shipments to ensure safe and timely delivery of Watts products. This position reports to the Shipping Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in St. Pauls, NC. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pack all export orders and provide sales with appropriate information for export documents.
  • Pack regular orders and touch up all materials when necessary or return materials to proper location if unable to ship.
  • Run labels and bills of lading (BOL) for shipments.
  • Build pallets and crates.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Verify shipping copies, export documentation, and bills of lading for accuracy prior to shipment.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to use a staple gun and build crates.
  • Must be able to operate the foam machine.
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
  • Must be willing to work overtime with short notice.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable safety practices and procedures.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience of 1+ years in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with bills of lading, export documentation, and shipping systems.
  • Previous Forklift certification.

Working Conditions: While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's location in St.Pauls, NC. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager. Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
