JOB SUMMARY:

Ensure adherence to Neste Nutrition Material & Recipe Management processes and standards to support the development and release of compliant products. Provide expertise on ingredients, recipes, and digital tools to support new product development, technical assistance, and technical acceptance. Support implementation of Corporate and Business initiatives regarding ingredients, recipes, and product release. Support competence building in R&D and Operations for category-specific Material & Recipe Management processes and digital tools.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Compliance by Design for the Meals and Drinks category using SAP, CAT, and other digital tools.
  • Support and guide the formulation of new products according to Material & Recipe Management processes.
  • Provide guidance on the creation and approval of recipes and recipe validations
  • Provide guidance on the submission of products for Technical Acceptance
  • Create, review and approve Raw Material Purchasing Specifications for ingredients critical to the Meals & Drinks portfolio
  • Participate as MRM functional lead in cross-functional project teams and provide recommendations to overcome ingredient and product related challenges.
  • Identify opportunities and drive improvement of Material & Recipe Management processes and tools (SAP-RM, CAT and DevEX)
  • Review and approve global M&D recipes according to NN guidelines.
  • Train users on category specific Material & Recipe Management processes and tools.
  • Manage M&D technical acceptance requests as required and ensure on-time release of I&R launches.
  • All other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS(Education, Experience and Knowledge):

  • Has bachelor's degree or higher in food science, regulatory, or another related scientific field.
  • Experienced (2+ yrs.) in Innovation, R&D, Operations or in a factory or market, specifically on management of ingredients, recipes, finished products, compliance, or label data management.
  • Has statistical knowledge & ability to analyze and summarize data and make recommendations.
  • Understands regulatory compliance and awareness of relevant food regulations.
  • Experienced in using software systems/applications.
  • Knowledge of databases, and data visualization tools
  • Experienced working in cross-functional teams.
