The Senior Field Marketing Manager is responsible for the management and execution of marketing programs to generate new business, drive cross sell/upsell opportunities, and help advance existing opportunities for the sales and recruiting teams within assigned divisions. The position requires understanding of sales process and operations as well as marketing. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Field Marketing, this individual will manage 1-2 exempt direct reports and partner closely with assigned sales and recruiting teams and the broader marketing department to drive and execute marketing strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Strategic Marketing - 40%
- Oversees the divisional level marketing strategies and alignment with the overall marketing plan and strategy
- Creates divisional demand and retention strategies that align with sales and recruiting teams
- Interfaces with Sales to determine sales enablement needs
- Works with Marketing to develop tactical plans, including campaigns, programs, and content
- Manages plans within Monday.com system
- Uses analysis and insights to inform leadership of ways to optimize plans and strategies on an ongoing basis
- Works with Marketing Operations to track ROI for divisional campaigns
- Works with data team to generate insights about marketing direction
Sales Enablement - 30%
- In partnership with the Sr Director of Field Marketing, develops and manages campaign deliverables, objectives, and timelines
- Communicates campaign deliverables, objectives, and timelines to teams
- Provides support for successful program adoption
- Works with sales operations team to align marketing objectives with sales and recruiting initiatives
- In partnership with the Sr Director of Field Marketing, manages the divisional level sales/marketing funnel including identifying areas of opportunity and recommendations
Team Management - 20%
- Coaches field marketing team to know and understand their divisions, including competitors and market trends
impacting the division, to identify and prioritize opportunities - Manages 1-2 field marketing managers, coordinating activities and supports sharing best practices across broader FM team
- Interviews and selects candidates for hire
- Conducts annual performance evaluations; coaches associates to maximum performance
- Creates and delivers associate corrective actions and performance improvement plans as needed
Market Research and Intelligence - 10%
- Understands and translates the industry landscape and key issues and monitors trends
- Defines market opportunities
- Works with divisional leadership to learn specialty-specific market challenges
- Proactively addresses market trends and competitive activity
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)
- May attend sales and recruitment conferences as needed
- May work on special projects or other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY
- May communicate with clients and clinicians as needed
- Manages a team of 1-3 exempt direct reports
- Develops an operating plan for assigned divisions and budget that are part of a departmental budget of $1MM+
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, and/or sales enablement
- 2+ years of experience managing a team preferred
