We are currently seeking a Head of Product Management, Digital Solutions for our Lab Products & Services (LPS) business. In this position, you inspire internal and external stakeholders for new digital business opportunities from developing the strategic vision to developing key partnerships and execution of concepts. This role requires strategic portfolio management, decision-making and ruthless prioritization to ensure a strong focus is put on the selected few products which drive Sartorius growth and maintain our competitive edge in the market. A proven track record in product management, leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and growth are essential pre-requisites for this role.

What you will accomplish together with us:

* Develop and implement the product strategy for LPS Digital Solutions in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives, enforcing and vocally communicating ruthless prioritization, timely data-driven decisions and clear focus on winning products for Sartorius
* Foster a culture of collaboration within LPS Digital Solutions, and across LPS product management, as well as with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product Development, IT, Corporate Research, Sales, Marketing etc.) maintaining trusted relationships, building alignment and driving execution to ensure our products meet customer needs and achieve business objectives
* Champion LPS Digital Solutions with senior leadership and other key stakeholders in LPS, Bioprocess Solutions Division, and Corporate Functions, regularly updating them on product strategy, trends, challenges, opportunities
* Set and monitor KPIs to measure success and drive growth of LPS Digital Solutions, constantly reviewing essential metrics (e.g. revenue, leads, opportunities, win rate, profitability, cost, customer satisfaction etc.) to proactively identify tactical actions to be executed with & by relevant partners, aligning to remove obstacles and optimize performance of LPS Digital Solutions
* Hold PMs within LPS Digital Solutions and the supported hardware/consumable business areas accountable for the success of their product portfolio from cradle to grave, overseeing that the entire product lifecycle runs smoothly and taking all necessary leadership actions to establish & maintain a high-performance mindset in the team
* Conduct regular reviews of LPS Digital Solutions to ensure business impact and optimal fit with customer feedback & needs, leading product & process improvement and providing recommendations to stakeholders
* Leverage intel on customer workflows & applications, market research, competitive landscape, industry trends and emerging technologies, validate such intel with first-hand interactions with key customers to identify unmet needs and market opportunities for LPS Digital Solutions
* Drive innovation by leading cross-functional teams to develop agile product concepts, rapidly deliver prototypes and MVPs to market, integrate external collaboration strategies, and act on early customer feedback
* Champion a "Sartorius first" mindset in road-mapping exercises, giving priority to the company's overall goals & objectives, thus ensuring that the biggest investments (time, money, resources) are placed on products which give Sartorius a long-lasting competitive advantage in the market

What will convince us:

* Bachelor's degree. in Life Sciences or computer sciences-related disciplines (e.g., Cell Biology, Computational Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry) highly recommended; MBA or PhD is preferred
* 15+ years of professional experience in Life Sciences with a proven track record, including:
* 5+ years in a people-leadership role
* 5+ years in product management
* 10+ years managing software products and services, with experience in Agile development environments
* 2+ years in a complex customer-facing role
* 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in discovery & development including hands-on experience with bioanalytical instrumentation
* Demonstrated success implementing large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary software projects across organizations or divisions
* Expertise in digital transformation trends: cloud, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and customer data platforms
* Proven ability to identify market opportunities, define strategy, build business cases, and execute successfully
* Role-model leader and collaborative team player, adept at aligning diverse stakeholders and fostering cross-functional collaboration
* Highly innovative, results-driven, with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
* Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities with agility
* Outstanding communication skills-verbal, written, and presentation-with the ability to engage senior management and external audiences
* Recognized as a product promoter who can inspire both internal teams and customers
