Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Manager, Book-to-Screen Rights to contribute to our team in our New York office. This is not a remote position, but hybrid schedules will be offered. The person hired for this role will be based in our NY office.

In this role, you will manage MediaScout, a new and growing book-to-screen information service. You'll lead a team focused on rights data acquisition, relationship and market development, and customer growth. As the Manager you'll oversee sales development, implement product improvements, and influence our online branding and voice. You'll be tasked with generating revenue for MediaScout. In addition, you will work with management to develop and forecast sales targets and appropriately manage expenses so we can scale our growth profitably.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 5 years' experience in film &/or tv rights, entertainment industry, or related
  • 2 years' experience in Sales
  • 1 year leadership experience, directly or indirectly managing people, projects, or processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on book-to-screen deals or adaptations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team of sales and business representatives, setting sales goals, establishing sales strategies, and ensuring a successful client experience.
  • Monitors and manages product development to meet customer and market needs.
  • Recruits, hires, trains, and conducts performance evaluations for associates, ensuring consistent application of company policies and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Manages and grows client relationships by developing tailored pitches and leading and attending client business reviews.
  • Works with marketing and PR teams to develop and execute promotions, education, and training of MediaScout to ensure sales and pipeline growth and increased market share.
  • Works with the Finance team to manage and recommend pricing, discounts, expense targets, and contributes to budget planning and forecasting.
  • Meets or exceeds budget goals

Hiring Salary Range: $114,355k-$145,000k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
