Estimated annual base pay: $61,120 (minimum) - $76,400 (midpoint) - $91,680 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Contract Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you! This position has the primary responsibility of managing existing contracts to ensure the enforcement of all rights and obligations and provides support to the contract negotiations and claims management functions.

What you will be doing:

  • Contract Management and Negotiation: Redline, negotiate, and manage nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), assist with contract conformance, and support higher-level negotiations through fact-finding and observation.
  • CLM System Maintenance: Organize, maintain, and update workflows, group metrics, and KPIs within Woodward's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, ensuring all agreements and relevant data are accurately entered and maintained.
  • Customer & Compliance Support: Track long-term contract expirations, renewals, and pricing adjustments (e.g., escalations, de-escalations), and ensure customer flow-down requirements and documentation are distributed and retained.
  • Revenue Recognition & SAP Maintenance: Assist with revenue recognition pairing and maintain SAP 4.04 and 5.05 data.
  • Flow-Down Management: Assist in the creation, input, and communication of flow-down forms and requirements, such as cybersecurity and product support agreements.
  • Government Contracting: Provide support for government contracting activities and ensure compliance with related obligations.
  • Team Collaboration: Exchange information effectively with stakeholders, gather inputs, and work across functional groups to ensure compliance with Woodward policies and obligations.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous records, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of responsibilities while adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Basic Commercial & Negotiation Skills: Understand commercial terms, industry standards, and pricing principles; negotiate basic contract pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of contract management software, the ability to multi-task efficiently, and a focus on database and form accuracy.
