Be a driving force in enhancing our client's data infrastructure. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to analyze existing reporting, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop innovative solutions. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing SQL queries, troubleshooting data issues, and ensuring the accuracy and scalability of critical financial data. Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple requests concurrently, effectively communicating status and key information to both business stakeholders and internal teams.
• Engineer highly scalable and optimized solutions to support short and long-term business priorities, ranging from traditional reporting to modern business intelligence and analytic tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand data lineage and address issues, challenges, or enhancements in existing reporting.
• Proactively identify and communicate potential risks or limitations associated with business requests, considering factors such as feasibility, automation, and scalability.
• Adhere to governance processes when developing and enhancing work for production environments.
• Create and maintain comprehensive user documentation for jobs, reports, dashboards, and data issues.
• Develop domain expertise in key systems and processes.
• Perform ad-hoc report development, analysis, and other requests as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 8+ years of full-time work experience, including 5+ years in an analytical or data science role.
• Experience in a multi-functional working model, collaborating with product owners, data engineers, developers, and user experience researchers.
• Proven ability to handle 5-10 concurrent requests effectively.
• Proficiency in optimizing and troubleshooting SQL queries without code-generating tools and understanding complex existing SQL.
• Experience with code development and version control tools such as Visual Studio and Bitbucket/GitHub.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile, and matrix work environment.
• Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL
• Tableau Development
• Visual Studio and/or Bitbucket/GitHub

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with investment products data.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.00 to $66.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
