Overview:

Join us as the Global Presales Support Director, where you'll spearhead our Retail Global Presales Support team within the dynamic Supply Chain Advisory Organization. As a visionary leader, you'll shape demo strategies that align seamlessly with our business objectives, fostering innovation in retail supply chain solutions. This pivotal role calls for an exceptional individual with strategic acumen, technical prowess, and outstanding communication skills.

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on technical expert who can delve into the technical nuances of backend demo support, interpret complex requirements, and craft compelling narratives. Your deep expertise in retail solutions - spanning allocation, replenishment, assortment, and merchandising - paired with a solid presales background, will be crucial in managing a team of Senior Analysts. If you're ready to lead with impact and drive growth, we invite you to apply.

Scope:

  • Leadership of a team of Senior Analysts to develop demos, proof of concepts (POCs), and conference room pilots (CRPs) specifically for retail sector clients.
  • Drive solution capabilities to meet the complex needs of prospects and customers in the retail industry.
  • Maintain a culture of excellence and innovation within the team, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement of demo assets.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for Pre-Sales teams within the retail function, overseeing demo strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Manage the pipeline of demo requests, prioritizing and allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines and business requirements.
  • Develop and implement resource planning strategies to optimize team productivity and efficiency, fostering continuous skill development through training programs.
  • Lead project planning efforts to deliver high-quality demo builds tailored to specific retail customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Product Development, and Go-To-Market, ensuring demos reflect the latest product capabilities and market trends.
  • Direct the configuration and maintenance of demo environments to highlight key capabilities within the retail supply chain sector.
  • Guide the preparation of data models, business scenarios, and user flows aligned with retail-specific use cases, supporting POCs and CRPs with effective configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and continuously enhance the quality, effectiveness, and scalability of demo assets and processes, encouraging documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Presales Support or Supply Chain/Consulting role across Retail Planning Solutions (ANR, Assortment, Allocation, Merchandising, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of direct global leadership experience (team will be in the US, EMEA and India).
  • MUST have experience with Fashion/Apparel (Softlines) or Grocery retailers.
  • MUST have direct experience delivering and supporting high-impact demos and proof of concepts (POCs).
  • MUST have experience in supply chain software and tools within the Retail Sector (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder/JDA).
  • Proven success in leading global teams and projects to successful implementation.
  • Strong analytical, data modeling, and configuration skills.
