About the Job

The position will work in the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research, within the Department of Radiology. You will be working on MR spectroscopy in mouse models of creatine deficiency.

Responsibilities:
* Assist PI with animal preparation for scanning (15%)
* Assist PI with data acquisition on the 16.4T animal scanner (35%)
* Process mouse MRS data (25%)
* Perform statistical analysis of data (15%)
* Manage communications with RAR for shipping mice to UMN and back to UCLA and quarantine (10%)
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
Required Qualifications:
* BA/BS in a STEM-related field, preferably in physics, chemistry, biomedical engineering, or equivalent STEM degree
* At least 2 years of research experience
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong organizational skills
* Willingness to work with mice

Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of MR spectroscopy
* Experience working with mice in research
* Good computer skills

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
