GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for the comprehensive operations of our service centers, including Rental, Service, and Parts departments to increase revenue, grow market share and maximize profitability. This position entails managing site processes, facility operations, and all site personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Leadership:

Manage and oversee daily operations of the Rental, Service, and Parts departments to work as one team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service by maximizing rental utilization and trucking efficiency.
Monitor the service department's readiness days and open work orders to optimize efficiency.
Manage the customer damage process, parts inventory turns, and inventory accuracy to support efficient and cost-effective asset turnaround.
Implement strategies to enhance site performance, accountability, and operational efficiencies.
Foster a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement among site employees.

Facility and Resource Management:

Supervise facility maintenance and ensure all operational needs are met to support business activities.
Optimize resource allocation, including equipment, inventory, and personnel, to meet operational demands and maximize profitability.
Responsible for managing and maintaining store's camera and security systems.
Performance Monitoring and Review:

Monitor site performance metrics, including rental revenue, service efficiency, and parts sales, to identify opportunities for improvement.
Conduct regular reviews, audits, and assessments of site operations, providing feedback and recommendations for enhancement.
Communication and Coordination:

Serve as the primary point of contact for site-related matters, liaising with HSE, HR, and other departments as necessary.

Facilitate effective communication between departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and initiatives.
Talent Acquisition, Development, and Training:

Participates in interviews and hiring processes alongside department managers to select new employees.
Provide leadership and mentorship to site employees, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
Coordinate training programs and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety awareness.

Leads daily meetings focused on store operations and safety protocols.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

Take on additional tasks or special projects as assigned.

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Proven experience (5+ years) in administrative management, preferably in a service-oriented industry such as equipment rental or maintenance.

Knowledge of frequently used Sales and Customer Relations Concepts, Practices and Procedures
