Overview
Texas Oncology Surgical Specialists is looking for a hybrid/remote Patient Services Representative to join our team! This position supports our South Austin location and follows a hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site and 2 remote days per week. This is a full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm position with no weekends, call, or major holidays. This position can be a level 1, 2, or Sr based on candidate experience. What does the Patient Services Representative do? Under direct supervision, greets and welcomes patients and their friends/family/caretakers, registers and schedules appointments for patients in an efficient and timely manner, answers, screens, and directs all incoming calls to appropriate personnel relaying messages between patients and clinical staff, schedules outside testing and referrals for patients as required, assists physician in correspondence with referring physicians, updates medical record chart by scanning reports and notes into patient record, supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology's Shared Values. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Patient Services Representative will have the following background and experience: Level 1
Level 2 (in addition to level 1 requirements)
Level Sr (in addition to level 1 and 2 requirements)
