The Process Improvement Analyst supports departmental initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, standardization, and quality outcomes across Comagine Health's Care Management (CM) division. This role applies Lean, change management, and continuous improvement methodologies to analyze workflow and care management systems, support project execution, and develop recommendations that align with organizational goals. Under the guidance of the Manager of Quality and Process Improvement, the Process Improvement Analyst collaborates with both clinical and non-clinical teams to promote and advance continuous quality improvement throughout the Care Management department.


This is a fully remote position within the United States, however, candidates within pacific, mountain or central time zones are ideal as the core work hours fall within the 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mountain time zone.


The ideal candidate will have the following background and certifications:



  • Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement/change management certification
  • Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of seven years of professional experience in healthcare operations.
  • Minimum of four years of healthcare quality and/or process improvement experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools and techniques.


Knowledge Base:


* Knowledge of process improvement tools (e.g., process mapping, cause-and-effect analysis, Pareto charts, run/control charts).


* Strong data analysis skills, including use of Excel, and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).


* Ability to analyze and interpret data to support improvement recommendations.


* Strong facilitation and collaboration skills across clinical and non-clinical teams, including executives.


* Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at the operational level.


* High-quality work under pressure, managing multiple competing priorities.


* Excellent planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.


* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visio).


* Experience using Teams, and Zoom.



Job Duties:


Process Analysis & Improvement Support


* Promote and apply established process improvement principles and best practices.


* Support and facilitate process development for the implementation of new contracts and service lines, and process development and/or redesign for process/quality improvement projects.


* Analyze workflow and system needs, and make recommendations for improvement.


* Manage process improvement initiatives and projects including defining and measuring the problem, conducting detailed work analysis, developing process improvement interventions and maintaining implementation work plans.


* Work with teams to identify, implement and sustain opportunities to improve or transform their work.


Implementation Project Support


* Support project documentation including charters, meeting notes, action logs, and follow-up materials.


* Collaborate with project managers and implementation team leads to ensure milestones are met and risks are addressed.


* Maintain organized records of improvement projects and sustainment activities.


* As part of an implementation team, identify actionable steps to operationalize scopes of work as they pertain to systems and workflow:


* Identify system requirements to complete each identified scope of work (reviews)


* Identify and document workflow process steps


* Coordinate with operations, ITS, and client staff, as appropriate, to establish a shared understanding of efficient and effective workflow to meet contract requirements including deliverables, enhanced processes, reporting and/or invoicing.


* Collaborate with operations and ITS staff to identify and document new process requirements necessitated by the implementation of new services and/or information systems to achieve optimal efficiency and effectiveness in operational workflows and processes.


Training & Resource Development



  • Create standardized materials, tools, and templates to support training on Lean and process improvement methodologies.
  • Assist in delivering basic training or presentations to internal teams on continuous improvement principles.

As this is a fully remote role within the United States we do consider location when deciding the compensation package.

Ft. Collins, Colorado - $95k - $104k


Kansas City, Missouri - $85k - $95k
