Position Overview

The Eligibility & Compliance Coordinator (ECC) is responsible for performing the initial and ongoing data collection process to determine whether applicants/team members of GCE meet the criteria for the AbilityOne program. The ECC also facilitates the process for creating and regularly updating person-centered employment plans (PCEPs) for GCE team members; these plans are used to support and guide the team member throughout the employment cycle. The ECC identifies and recommends appropriate workplace accommodations and support for team members when, and as, needed.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field such as rehabilitation, counseling, social work, psychology, education, business administration, or economics and one year of experience working with persons with disabilities;
  • OR Master's Degree in applicable field as noted above and six months of experience working with persons with disabilities;
  • OR Associate's Degree or Bachelor's or Master's in an unrelated field and two years of experience working with persons with disabilities;
  • OR four years experience working with persons with disabilities.
  • Previous knowledge and experience with the AbilityOne Program and/or in a community-based vocational services setting is preferred.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position $20.2255-$23.3231.

Remote employees must reside in the following states: AK, AL, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, KY, LA, MD, MA, MS, NC, OH, OK, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA.
