Description

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on technology leader to oversee enterprise-wide business and technology transformation initiatives in a member-centric association environment. This role blends technology program leadership, Agile transformation, and operational execution to deliver platforms, services, and processes that enable growth, member and customer engagement, operational efficiency, and long-term organizational sustainability.

The ideal candidate combines C-suite advisory skills with technical delivery credibility - capable of leading high-visibility initiatives, maturing Agile PMO capabilities, driving cultural adoption of Agile ways of working, and managing the operations of the Technology department. This leader will manage multi-million-dollar investments, align cross-functional teams, and drive results through execution of our modernization, indispensability and growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program & Portfolio Leadership



  • Direct enterprise business change programs, ensuring investments deliver measurable value to members, customers and the restaurant industry.
  • Partner with executive leadership to set annual technology and business priorities, balancing innovation with operational stability.
  • Provide transparent reporting on initiative progress, budget performance, risks, and impact.


Agile PMO Development & Governance



  • Build and advance an Agile Program Management Office (APMO) with governance tailored to the unique needs of the Association.
  • Implement project prioritization, demand management, and reporting processes that align with strategic plans and board oversight.


Agile Transformation & Delivery Excellence



  • Build and sustain an Agile environment that delivers predictable, high-quality outcomes by embedding disciplined planning, prioritization, and execution practices.
  • Lead the adoption and scaling of Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) right-sized for the Association to improve speed-to-value for member/customer-facing products and services.
  • Create an Agile Center of Excellence to define standards, train teams, and track delivery performance against KPIs.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing agile delivery leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, kindness, and respect.
  • Drive modernization initiatives through PMO governance and Agile delivery methods, resulting in secure, reliable, and scalable systems that support uninterrupted services and long-term organizational resilience.
  • Champion technology investments that reduce operational risk, enable data-driven decisions, and position the Association to adapt quickly to evolving industry needs.


Stakeholder & Executive Engagement



  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, translating complex technology strategies into clear business outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with peers, business partners, and vendors while continuously striving to strengthen the Technology department brand.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in technology related field; advanced education or executive leadership programs preferred.
  • 15+ years in technology and business program delivery, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise digital transformations.
  • Demonstrated success implementing Agile at scale and maturing PMO capabilities.
  • Strong software delivery, governance, risk management, and change management skills tailored to small to mid-size organizations.
