Simtra BioPharma Solutions (Simtra) is a world-class Contract Development Manufacturing Organization, partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to bring their sterile injectable products to market. This role:

As a Recruiting Coordinator at our site in Bloomington, IN, you will be a key ambassador of our employer brand, ensuring every candidate interaction is thoughtful, timely, and engaging. You'll support the full-cycle recruitment process by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and driving operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating exceptional candidate experiences and continuously improving recruitment processes in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The responsibilities:

Candidate Experience & Engagement



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview and onboarding process.
  • Ensure timely, personalized communication to candidates at every stage of the hiring journey.
  • Coordinate interviews, travel arrangements (if applicable), and follow-ups with professionalism and care.
  • Support hiring managers in delivering a consistent and welcoming experience to all candidates.


Recruitment Operations



  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of data Greenhouse (ATS).
  • Prepare offer letters and facilitate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and onboarding logistics.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners to support hiring initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
  • Assist in organizing and executing hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach efforts.


Continuous Improvement



  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance recruitment workflows and candidate touchpoints.
  • Gather feedback from candidates and hiring teams to inform process improvements.
  • Support reporting and analytics efforts to track recruitment metrics and identify trends.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving the overall talent acquisition strategy.


System Administration & Optimization



  • Administer and maintain Greenhouse and related recruitment platforms.
  • Configure workflows, templates, and user permissions to align with business needs.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.



Qualifications:



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field or 2 years of experience in a Recruiting Coordinator role
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR, or talent acquisition support.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, Taleo).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality candidate experiences.
