Key Account Representative - Data Center

Description

Responsible for the retention and continued growth of assigned key data center accounts. Primary focus will be to identify customer needs, meet, and exceed targeted annual growth while providing Legendary Customer Service. This position collaborates with various departments throughout the organization to develop strategic ways recommend and influence solutions providing a positive customer experience and proactively seeking out opportunities to increase revenue. Will also provide account management services to ensure a professional and productive customer relationship.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential Functions:

* Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
* Cultivate, manage, and maintain relationships for key customer accounts at all levels within the customer's organization
* Prospecting, developing, and maintaining relationships within the customer's internal team and key stakeholders
* Visit job sites and collaborate with customers acting as a consultant to help them solve problems and succeed in their business
* Cultivate, manage, and maintain relationships with supporting dealers to enable execution of commissioning and product support of customer equipment
* Collaborates with leadership to identify Enterprise opportunities for revenue gain within customer base and executes said targets
* Maintains awareness of customer activity; Serves as the company "expert" on each assigned account and serves as a liaison to facilitate all efforts to provide a positive customer experience
* Performs regular health checks with customers in effort to maintain a robust partnership
* Contribute to the development, monitoring, and control of the annual strategic sales forecast; Efficiently and consistently meets/exceeds Targeted Annual Growth and Portfolio Health Target Goals for assigned customer accounts
* Collaborates with leadership to perform business reviews of portfolio with the customer to include initiating, completing, analyzing sales related reports/documentation and recommend appropriate corrective action
* Assist commissioning project management team by providing technical support and consolidated customer communication
* Creates value with safety initiatives in alignment with customers
* Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
* Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Expert knowledge of electric power generation
* Expert knowledge of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales)
* Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
* Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
* Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Driven and results oriented; business development, KPIs, and market expansion to meet corporate targets
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
* First-class organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, deadline oriented
* Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents and communicates effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
* Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization and customer operations
* Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately
* Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
* The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
* Minimum of four years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required

Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • None


Travel:

* Extensive driving required; overnight travel required
* Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:

* This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
* This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
* This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

Work Environment:

* This job is generally performed in a retail and office environment; exposure to computer screens; exposure to noise, dust, grease, fumes, gases, heat, cold, and inclement weather conditions
* Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
