Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Fort Lauderdale FL 33309
Duration: Full time with Benefits
Pay Rate: $105K-110K /Yearly. with benefits
Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night):Day (8 AM- 5 PM) or 9 am -6 pm
Job Description:
- Process Development & Optimization.
- Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for HVAC components and systems.
- Optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and update work instructions, work sequence cards, and process documentation. Project Management
- Lead or support capital projects, equipment installation, acquisition, and production line modifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design Engineering, Quality, Assembly) for product launches, engineering changes to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
- Manage timelines, resources, and budgets for projects. ? Lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery and safety of manufacturing processes Continuous Improvement
- Drive cost reduction, cycle time improvements, and throughput enhancements.
- Analyze production metrics and root cause manufacturing issues to implement corrective actions.
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and ergonomic assessments.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing strategies for equipment, workplace layouts, labor and material flow to meet strategic goals.
- Develop new or improving existing manufacturing processes in areas such as: Assembly, Sheet metal, Cooper depot, E-box. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to resolve non-conformances and implement robust control plans.
- Support audits and compliance with ISO and other relevant standards. Technical Support
- Provide hands-on support to production teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Evaluate and recommend tooling, fixtures, and equipment upgrades.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing resource planning.

- Demonstrate discipline and consistency regarding adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, interaction and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma principles.
Required Qualification:
- BS degree in an Engineering field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a senior or leadership position.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence.
