What you will do

As the Electrical and Controls Manager at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for leading the electrical and controls team in the successful execution of projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems and controls within our facilities. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and project management expertise.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of electrical engineers and technicians.
  • Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support team members in their professional development and career advancement.

Project Management:

  • Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients and cross-functional teams, to achieve project goals.
  • Implement best practices for project management and deliver projects with high quality standards.

What we look for:

Required:

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8 Years suggested minimum experience.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering and controls management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred:

  • Professional engineering license.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems.
  • Project management certification (PMP or similar).
