Your Job Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a motivated student to join our Operations Capability team as a Process Architecture & Innovation Intern. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, organizing information, and working closely with a team to improve processes. You'll gain real-world experience in maintenance work management, learning how accurate and complete information directly impacts operational success. What You Will Do As an intern in this role, you will: Engage with requestors via email, chat, or meetings to collect and clarify information for incoming maintenance and operations work requests. Connect key details (such as location, summary, work type, equipment type, primary craft, and priority) between our work management system and others Program and Validate AI driven Digital Employees for accuracy and completeness (you may not be the programmer) Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to understand equipment, processes, and priority-setting in a plant environment. Participate in process improvement initiatives, contributing ideas to make our work order management more efficient and user-friendly. Shadow experienced team members to learn how data-driven decision-making supports plant reliability and productivity. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Enrolled in a degree or alternative program. (e.g., 4 year college program, 2 year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.) Eligible for full-time employment before or by May 2028. Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) What Will Put You Ahead Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. Interest in operations, maintenance, or process improvement in remote areas. Prior experience with data entry, work management systems, or technical documentation.
