Sonepar USA is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Business Development to lead the growth of our Industrial Solutions Business. This high-impact leadership role reports to the Vice President of Industry Solutions and Business Development and is responsible for driving revenue, expanding market presence, and collaborate closely with our decentralized team of field business development professionals.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Business Growth: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and manage a robust pipeline of value-added services and smart manufacturing solutions.
  • Shape Strategy: Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  • Activate Partnerships: Lead strategic planning with vendors, systems integrators, and value-added resellers.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with marketing, legal, and operations to build brand presence and deliver impactful campaigns.



Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in the industrial market and B2B services sales or business development
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Ability to travel 50% across the United States
  • Deep understanding of the industrial ecosystem (End Users, OEMs, EPCs, Systems Integrators)
  • Expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies: MES/MOM, predictive analytics, OEE, IT/OT cybersecurity
  • Proven success in strategic sales, customer relationship management, and team leadership
  • Authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without VISA/work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
